Bendigo Bank - East Ivanhoe and Heidelberg

The East Ivanhoe and Heidelberg Community Bank® branches are ongoing supporters of both the Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club and the Cricket Club.

Following plenty of hard work by members in the community, Bendigo Bank East Ivanhoe opened its doors on 12 May, 2001 following the support of 230 shareholders who raised $478,000 in funds, as required by the Bendigo Bank to begin trading as a banking business. The branch has continued to flourish in it’s prime location on Lower Heidelberg Road ever since it’s opening. In 2008, the Heidelberg Steering Committee was formed and over a twelve month period raised $850,000 in funding to establish the Heidelberg Branch. The Heidelberg branch opened its doors in September 2009.

The two branches continue to grow and support the local community with annual sponsorship and grants programs, resulting in almost $3,000,000 in community contributions to date and we are thrilled to have them on board as a sponsor and partner for many years to come.

As part of our sponsorship with Bendigo Bank, we receive a base sponsorship with the opportunity to earn further income by referring members of the Marcellin Community to the wonderful team at both branches.
